It was just a normal day in the
year 1999 when Pedro Espinosa decided to leave his current job at British Petroleum
and continue his family’s business tradition in the world of gastronomy. Here, he
opened the very first outlet of Llaollao (pronounced as ‘yao yao’) enterprises. A year later, Pedro decided to expand the
very business that he was enhancing based on the franchising model that is seen
up to this very date.
The company is one of the leading brands when it comes to serving people with healthy values and a fresh image to create an impact on today’s league of customers. With that success comes a very important mentioning of the brand. The Prime Minister of Singapore – Lee Hsien Loong – mentioned that Llaollao along with Zara and other Spanish companies that are found in Singapore are very popular today.
By July of 2015, Llaollao has
generated more than 1,000 jobs during its five year duration that started in
2009 of being a successful business. Last year – August 2015 - Llaollao opened its biggest outlet in the
world located at Suntec City, Singapore. The company is planning to expand the
business throughout the world beginning first in Japan.
