First Experience to be Out of the Country

|Travel|

As our plane was descending from the clouds up above, I catch my first glimpse on it. My first glimpse on land that was not my homeland, but something more foreign. This is my first time traveling out of my home country which is the Philippines. The lucky country that got me off my homeland is the wondrous city of Hong Kong.

Hong Kong is such a vibrant city, and you can say truly an Asian City. Streets that are busy with people running to work. Rush hours that affects your mood especially when you are coursing with them through the all familiar transit that is their MTR Transit Systems. The long railways, the minutes that you waste on squeezing in with different people all from different walks of life – Asian, American, Australian, European, Middle Easterns, and etc. Everywhere you look you will be entertained, it's like there is not one thing that you see in the streets that can bore you to sleep, but that's how I feel especially it was my first time being out of the country.

I can tell you that the Hong Kong food scene will not leave you out. It will only leave you wanting for more. The food you can see are all integrated from different places, mostly from their Asian neighbors like Japan, Taiwan, and some are also from Thailand. Also the street scenes I might say was also fun, especially the Ladies Market in Mong Kok where the buyers and sellers negotiate until they reach they agreed price.

I promise you once you’ve head to Hong Kong you will want more. Like me I wanted more because we only spent 4 days there, so I told myself – I will come back to Hong Kong and explore what else it could offer.

  1. This blogpost made me miss Hong Kong. Full of fun and hardworking people. Also, very disciplined. With that being said, truly Hong Kong is such a nice place to visit. :)
