Grecian Place in La Union

|Travel|

As big as it can get, La Union is one of the longest and biggest province that I have ever been to or have I ever crossed. La Union being one of the most well known and sought after provinces here in the Philippines, for it having over 19 municipalities that half I can’t even remember.

La Union is very well known for people that wants a getaway to the beach but not having to pay for air fare just to fly to Boracay or Palawan (But I do love Boracay & can’t wait to visit Palawan this year). La Union is also known as one of the Philippine’s surfing spots specifically San Juan. But we settled for San Fernando which is the 2nd main municipality in La Union, next to San Juan.

Because we thought that we’re just gonna spend most of our time at a resort so my mom booked our hotel to one of the best and most luxurious resorts in La Union – the Thunderbird Resort & Casino. The resort was Grecian or Greek inspired, so I was amazed when we first passed through the gates. The resort has multiple villas ranging from 12K and above per night. The beach and swimming pool area was just beautiful especially the beach and pool side which was facing the sunset so another bonus point for the hotel.

The resort was accompanied with restaurants that would satisfy you, but the one that I really liked was the Korean Restaurant – Ozu – where we had dinner. We also had dinner outside the resort which was the Riverfarm restaurant, they were famous for their dining area which was floating on the river and having fish farms around you.

Back at the resort, every corner is worthy backdrop for anyone who wants to take their #ootd’s or people just like me – a blogger and also a photographer.
